Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Debt Limits increase April 1, 2022

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy debt limits will increase on April 1, 2022.    Code section 11 U.S.C. § 109(e) amounts change every 3 years. 

Unsecured Debts

Noncontingent, liquidated unsecured debts must be less than $465,275  (was $419,275).

 

Secured Debts

Secured debts must be less than $1,395,875 (was $1,257,850).
